The Door Original Oil Painting

“The Door” is a representation of finding the secrets to our souls past and is about looking into yourself. Sometimes, I believe all we need to do to discover what lies within us is to open our souls up to the possibilities.

The Sumerian Tree of Life in the center is an ancient symbol and one that I have always been drawn to. This symbol is treated in this painting as the door to which you can open and travel within yourself. I believe with ancient knowledge we gain understanding and to some the door might be different.
