Ouroboros Original oil painting by Mel Fiorentino
Ouroboros Original oil painting by Mel Fiorentino
“Cernunnos” is a Celtic god depicted with antlers, seated cross-legged, and is associated with stags and horned serpents. Known as the mediator of man and nature, able to tame predator and prey so they might lie down together. Cernunnos is also depicted as a man in mythology.
There has always been something drawing me to Cernunnos like some kind of reminder of my past or a connection. He also has another name, Jack the Green, which coincidently is my biological father and grandfather’s name. Not only that, but my father was a bow hunter in NY and passed away while hunting at 51. Drawing all these connections that branch off in places of my life lead me to come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as coincidence, it’s linked to my soul.
