Limited Palette: Landscape + Architecture (3-Week Workshop)

In this 3-week workshop (April 25, May 2 & 9th), we’ll combine the beauty of landscape painting with the strength of architectural structure—using a limited palette to build confident values, believable light, and a cohesive mood.

Students may choose any architectural landscape reference they love, from ancient ruins and weathered stone to modern buildings, streetscapes, bridges, and interiors/exteriors. Whether you’re drawn to history and patina or clean modern lines, you’ll learn how to simplify complex scenes into a clear, paintable plan.

The limited palette streamlines color decisions and strengthens harmony—so you can focus on what creates impact: drawing, perspective, value organization, edges, and atmosphere. Each class includes demonstration, guided work time, and personalized feedback to help you move your painting forward with clarity.
